Ena Boyd is the author of genre-blurring fiction and poetry that interrogates masculinity, queerness, and the stories we tell ourselves to survive. His work wanders through liminal gates and stares into constellations, always circling one question: what does it take to be seen? Like a fox longing for another tail, or Vulpecula shimmering unnoticed in the night sky, his characters lust to be seen, reaching for answers, for recognition, for more. Even if it means chasing the impossible.Ena's debut story, Order, is a psychological urban fantasy about a reluctant sex demon, named Xenos, sentenced to the human world, where survival means seduction, justice sometimes requires blood, and his sexuality slowly unravels. His poetry and flash fiction have appeared in Arapahoe Community College’s Postcard Anthology, and often explore fractured masculinity, queer dissonance, and the blurred line between self and performance.
